About DVP Water Systems

Hi, I’m Darold VanderPloeg and I’m the “DVP” behind DVP Water Systems. I’m a Brighton area native and have lived here my whole life. This gives me a unique advantage in that I am intimately familiar with the local geography! (The glaciers left a little bit of everything in Northumberland county).

I graduated from Sir Sandford Fleming College’s Resources Drilling Program in 1999 and after two years working in the drilling industry, started my own business back in 2001.

I raised 3 daughters and then in 2019, married my wife Tanya who also has 3 daughters, so that’s 6 daughters altogether!

In my spare time you can find me working in my garden or exploring the northern backwoods with my trusty Argo.
