Well inspections are also important for those of you buying a new property or home. For example, is there a well on the property with no record or information? A well inspection can provide vital information on the status of the well and pumping system. It provides a clear picture of the well’s condition, production, and complete water system so there are no surprises when you move in!
Your well inspection may include…
- A review of the physical well itself, its structure, including the wellhead and casing.
- Performance assessment of your pump and supporting systems.
- Water quality test: Samples from your well allow us to identify any possible bacterial, mineral, or chemical contaminants in the water.
- Flow test: We’ll assess how much water can be pumped from the well on a gallon per minute basis (GPM) and how quickly the water level recovers.
